It was a long day for Rob Cotter.
Having a bye in the first round, he had to wait for the winner of Joe Wnek and Jack Willis’s game to see who he had to play in the quarter final. He arrived mid-morning to find that Jack had won the game 21-16. Unfortunately, he was not feeling well and had to default their semifinal game which meant Rob went straight into the final. This meant more sitting around while he waited to find out who his opponent would be.
A close match in the other semi final eventually saw Coral Mills win her game against Michael Norris 21-18.
After a break for Coral, Rob was at last able to take to the green, and a good group of spectators saw him take the Mixed Singles Title, 21-11.
