It was great to see both greens at the club being used this afternoon.
Green2, the cotula green, had all eight rinks being used for the Mixed 2x4x2 Gala and in the afternoon, club members not involved in the gala, including some of the newly signed up members, were in action on the new Dales surface.
This coming Saturday will see the Men’s and Women’s Balloted Pairs being played after being put off last month because of bad weather. Both greens will be again in use with the men playing on the new surface. This will be for many, their first timel on the new surface, so it will be interesting to hear what players have to say at the end of the day.

1st: Shoota Ballinger and Margaret MacKay with 4 wins and 29 ends.
2nd: Brian and May Thompson with 4 wins and 26 ends
3rd: Neville and Sharon Turnbull with 3½ wins and 21 ends.
