For 30 years our club has been privileged in receiving sponsorship for our Women’s Annual Gala from Steeds Pharmacy, and continues to be much appreciated.
A little disappointing that the green was not full but we did have teams join us from Central Levin, Foxton Beach, Manakau, Levin Women’s and Waitarere Beach and this helped add to the fun and challenge of the day.
Because there was an odd number of teams, three ‘men’ from the club made a team and played so that no byes were necessary. Thanks to JOElene, REXona and ROBerta. Though this team played well, they were not eligible to take out a prize but were rewarded no doubt by lots of smiles from their opponents.

1st Margaret MacKay’s team with 4 wins
2nd Dianne Spicer’s team from Levin Women’s with 3 wins, 22 ends and 36 points.
3rd Dawn Miller’s team from Central Levin with 3 wins, 22 ends and 31 points.
A Lucky Draw went to Ra Walker’s Levin team.
