On Wednesday, November 24, 2004, I wrote my first Bowling Club Blog and some time later, published it in booklet form so that a copy could be left at the clubooms for anyone who wanted to see it.
The first brief entry was:
Aggregate – Roll-up
Keen to play on the cotula green but the weather didn’t encourage a big turn out, just enough for two men’s and two women’s triples. Light drizzle most of the time… enough to convince Dick D and Doreen A that better things could be done at home. The green played quite well.
Since then I have continued to write about the club and its activities and today, I will be taking the latest copy, Volume 12 to add to the collection.
All but one volume are still there, (Volume 10 went missing earlier this year) and I hope they are of interest to members.
If nothing else, they keep me occupied, writing about the sport I play and enjoy.
