Day 2 – KCBC Men’s Singles

From sixteen to eight and now only four players are left in the Men’s Singles. Again the rain came on and off but bowling continued and tomorrow, the last four will play the semi finals and final at the Waitarere Beach Club starting at 10am.

Murray Griffin lost his first game but Trevor Tuatara and Shoota went through the next round with Dave Walker who had had a bye, each winning their game. The rest must have done Dave good, winning his game 21-1. Shoota was behind for quite a while in his game but his come back against Owen Vincent was very well done, ending up winning 21-17.

The last games in the day was played in the afternoon and both Dave and Shoota lost their matches, leaving Trevor Tuatara, our only remaining club member, to play Phil Edwards in the semi-finals, the other game being between Moran and Swift.

The forecast is good so we look forward to three great games tomorrow.
