I watched the semifinal between our club player, Trevor Tuatara, and Phil Edwards this morning at the Waitarere Beach Club and saw some great bowling. Trevor showed great control of his weight and line and though Phil was generally playing well, things just went great for Trevor, winning the match 21-10.
The other game was between Swift and Moran and Bill Moran won this well 21-8.
I wasn’t there to see the afternoon final but it must have been a close match between these two players, the win finally going to Bill Moran, 21-17
