A full green of Mixed Pairs competition was played over two days and though not the best weather for such an event, we saw some top bowlers in action.
Saturday saw the teams drawn to play in four sets and the results at the end of the day’s play were used to put all players into their overall placement position. Put simply, the four winners from each Day1 set became Section A on Sunday, and so on. Section A’s players took out the top prizes and each winner of the other three sections received a prize.
Four games of 10 ends were played on Day1 and 3 ends of 15 on the second day.
As usual, the club was well supported by teams from various clubs and our members assisted in all the necessary roles required for such an event.
At the end of the first day, Dave and Ra Walker proved to be the top qualifiers.
