Round 1 of Pennants was played by our selected club teams yesterday. Our club selectors had chosen players for teams and games were played at different clubs; Women’s Division One Teams at Waikanae Beach playing Raumati South and our Division Two Teams at the Waikanae Bowling Club playing Otaki.
From what I have heard, our Women’s Division One team did very well, winning their four games and our B section teams also did well, winning 2 games, had a Draw and a loss.
Our two Men’s Division One teams played at Raumati South against Central Levin and our Division Two teams at home on our cotula green.
Our A Section A team won both its games against Central but the B team went down in both their games.
At home on our cotula green our two teams won three of our four games. Murray and his players won both of their games, performing very well
The above information tells you basic information only, winning and losing etc. and little about how games were played and players performed. Perhaps better to hear from individuals on what they thought, a chance to hear about great shots and so on.
