It was a 9.30am start today, arranged by Trevor Turnbull, for members of the public to join us to have a fun day on the green to raise funds so that a “Full Rescue” Zoll Defibrillator could by bought for the our club. Our Sponsors for the day were New World and Westpac and our thanks go to them for taking part. Teams taking part, each made a donation to raise further funds for the project.
Play got started on the cotula green but the weather finally moved the games to the artificial surface. Four games of 2 bowl triples were played to find the winner. Lots of challenges, lots of fun.

Special thanks to Trevor and his helpers for putting together a successful fun day at the club. Hildi and helpers got started in the kitchen soon after 8.00am and she was still busy mid-afternoon. Really appreciated young lady.
