A real hardy group of players for yesterday’s Two Four Two Gala had a day of challenges; not just the 16 teams but the frost covered green and the low temperature also. Again good to see visiting teams and players taking part; one came all the way from Masterton.
I called into the club in the afternoon to see how things were going and when I arrived, found it was really cold with the low temperatures and strong southerly. I heard that the sun came out during the lunch break and was quite pleasant but though the conditions improved during the 2 afternoon games, I’m sure all were happy to see play end.
