“Effective from this Saturday, Club competitions will affect the opportunity to have club coaching on Saturday mornings.
Therefore, until further advised, all club coaching will take place on Thursday evenings from 4.00 – 600 pm (or later when daylight saving starts).
This will start on Thursday 10 Sep.
This programme is for ALL club bowlers (both men & women), not just Juniors or new players.
As already experienced, by both men & women pennant bowlers, there is a range of skill games played which allow all bowlers to develop their various skills & to focus on the ability to concentrate, play effective (1st) bowls & to learn to play percentage shots – amongst other skills. At the same time we all have some fun.
It is NOT about redeveloping players delivery techniques. However my observation is that there are quite a few players who could learn a better technique to gain greater consistency with their delivery & thus get more consistent results. If anyone wants to review their delivery technique, then all they need to do is ask and I can do one on ones. I can also video them to show what they are doing.”
