Another really hot day and it caused something different at Rotary today.
Two games were played at Waitarere with our two teams having a win and a loss each.
At Central, we had a win and a loss in the first round but after a few ends were completed in the second round, the green was said to be under stress and all the games were called off.
Quite an unusual event really when we remember what terrible weather we have been having which has caused a round to be called off, and now we still can have a problem when we get the other extreme conditions.
I’m sure our green also will have had a good watering after the conclusion of the Centre’s Women’s Singles.
