Rain had made the cotula green unavailable so all tonight’s play was on the artificial green.
Teams drawn to play their first round on that green, played only four ends and then were replaced by the remaining teams. This gave the first round players an opportunity to take a meal break and then were ready to come back on the green to play their last game.
Having only four ends in each game gave teams little time to adjust but as it turned out, three teams won 21 points overall and ends won decided the placings:
