Noel McCutcheon and Brian Paquin played the Junior Singles final this afternoon with Brian winning the match 21-12.
Noel started the match with a first bowl toucher and led after the first four ends
8-1.
From that point onward, Brian got his line and length under better control and slowly drew away to win the championship.
A good game to watch and congratulations go to both players.
Another round of Grants Corner to Corner was held with a good turn out enjoying the weekly challenge.
Some close to the corner bowls were played, others, from bowlers who needed energy after a good meal, some heavy weight ditchers and even a wrong bias from someone who swore that such a bowl was not in their repertoire.
Eventually, Michael Norris showed how it was done, taking away the prize after getting his bowl closest to the corner.
