Please come to the Melbourne Cup Mini Gala.  Players from other clubs are most welcome.  $3 entry and all moneys is paid out in prizes.  Fashion in the fields so being along your best dress.  We are having a pot luck dinner so bring a dish and stay for a meal.

Saturday 8th October 2016 The first section of 20 players fought it out today in the Men’s Handicap Singles in cold blustery conditions.  The day produced 11 qualifiers and tomorrow the remaining field will attempt to qualify.  It was pleasing from the handicappers point of view that 5 out of the 11 who made it through to post section had handicaps of 10 …

The match committee has posted the Saturday draw for 20 player.  The rest of the field 19 more players will be draw tomorrow once the match committee confirms whether our Men’s Triples team is available to play in the event.  Good luck to everyone in the event.

Qualifying for the Men’s Handicap Singles has been cancelled and everyone now moves to post section.  The draw is done, good luck and play well.

Because the day for section play was rained off, we will be playing a one life system (knock out) for play on Sunday commencing 9am. We will be using the first round of games from the existing draw as the first round of the one life system. Jim Bagnall
