Caught in the Act

Just what are Omeka and Ian doing. They seem to be caught between two posts with some legs as a background.

Further investigation showed what I suspected, club members at the green on a Monday morning, doing jobs around the place as needed.

I suspect that very few members have looked behind the clubrooms and if they had tried, they wouldn’t have seen much because of all the bits and pieces together with a hedge that were there.  I saw Stafford at work last week clearing up the ‘hedge’ and by so doing, it revealed that the clubrooms at the back really needed cleaning up. Hence the working bee this morning with Omeka, Ian Upston and Stafford doing some necessary painting.

There was no chance of me being able to get through the gap seen in the photo, but entering through the neighbour’s gate, gave me the chance to see the ‘workers’ in action.

The club is lucky to have members prepared to do the many tasks that need dealing with.

Window frames, wall panels, downpipes, to be attended to.
