Great to see all the teams in action today, finishing this year’s summer gala season. Very pleasing also to see visiting teams joining in, making for some very competitive games.
So many to thank for their work throughout the season; those responsible for producing for us a great green to play on and to those who ensure that it has been cut, rolled and marked, those who give their time to work in the kitchen, preparing meals and our special afternoon teas, club members who assist in so many ways, raffles, bar duty etc, match committee members who have been involved with the galas and for our members who have been playing in the galas. But above all, special thanks must go to Margaret Griffin who, for another season, has been the main organiser of these events. We appreciate all that she has done.
