Sunday came, the weather was OK so our Interclub teams were back in action yesterday.
The Men’s Super 7 team played their 2 rounds at Central Levin and won their Singles, pairs and Fours against the Central teams 9n the first round. Their afternoon games were against Paraparaumu Beach and Shoota was again in form and won his Singles. The pairs had a close game, loosing by 2 points and the fours also went down, losing their game by 6 points.
The Men’s Reserve Teams had a very good day playing at Paraparaumu Beach, the morning Round against Kapiti and the afternoon against Raumati South.
Ken won both his Singles matches and the Pairs also had strong wins in both their games. We had a tight game in our Fours in the morning, going down 9 – 11 but in the afternoon, we won another close match 18 – 16, so it was a good performance by the teams throughout the day.
The club’s Women’s Reserves had only one round to play and this was on our greens against Paraparaumu Red, and all three games were lost.
