The gales and rain have passed but the cool weather is still with us.
Thursday afternoon today showed that our club members are keen bowlers even with little sunshine about.
The players gathered around 1.00pm, plenty of chatter once they had put their names forward for the afternoon roll-up, sitting happily it would seem, discussing the usual this and that.
And then the names were out for players to start their games.
I was watching from inside the clubroom as I am not quite fit at the moment and was able to see how ‘warm’ all had prepared to play.
I do wonder how things went because I soon decided I’d be better off at home keeping warm .. but am sure that all would have had a good afternoon.
