On Tuesday 19 May an independent contractor from Palmerston North was at our club to Verti-Drain our cotula green. The spikes on the machine penetrate about 150 mm into the ground and the holes created in the green allow for more water to be drained through the topsoil. As the side gate which gives access to the cotula green was not wide enough the tractor had to cross the Dales green to gain access. Clearly we need to widen that gateway for future access.
