It was sad to learn of the death of our social member Marion Eyre at Easter. Marion was one of the early members of the Levin West Women’s Bowling Club, leading the way as President in 1990 and 1991, and as Treasurer for a number of years. After Marion stopped playing bowls she remained a very active social member until very recently, being a regular at cards sessions.
