Our club had another great weekend at the BKC Champion-of-champions pairs played at Kapiti B C.
Our women’s pair of Diana McGill and Julie Stichbury went down in the semi-final to the eventual winners Lynsey Osborne and Rosemary Renwick of Kapiti.
Our men’s pair of John Adams and Grahame Law went one better to narrowly lose the final 15 – 17 to Dennis Gough and John Evans of Paraparaumu Beach. In the semi final they beat the Central pair 18 – 11.
The star of the day though was Donna Gripp who took out the final of the Novice singles 21 – 7 over Ken Spencer of Kapiti.
Congratulations Donna and well played Diana, Julie, John and Grahame.
