We were supposed to play Men’s Pennants at our club today but rain in the early hours of the morning put paid to that.
By Lunch time, the sun was out and we were able to use the Astro for a roll-up.
It got very hot as the afternoon progressed and that’s maybe why two men players put up 3 wrong biases each during their games. With another player doing one, we had 7 all together. Anyone watching, might well have thought that Business House was on the go; in fact we haven’t seen many wrong biases from them yet.
Our Wrong bias box is getting quite heavy with the ‘donations’, all of which will end up with St Johns Ambulance.
Adding ‘spice’ to the afternoon was another round of Grant’s Corner to Corner and this week, it was Rex Spicer winning, showing his wife that he could match her in the competition. (She won recently). Just as well Alice didn’t copy Rex’s exploits from earlier in the afternoon!!!
