An uneven number of men’s teams entered for the competition meant that there had to be a bye so the final opportunity for Shoota Ballinger to qualify for post section play will have to be played tomorrow morning.
Already qualified are teams skipped by Jack Willis, Jim Bentley and Fred Adams and the draw will not be made until after the game between Shoota Ballinger and Jack Willis is played in the morning.
In the Women’s Triples, three teams have qualified, skipped by Margaret MacKay, Ann Malone and Christine Gardner.
