I heard that there was going to be some work done on the cotula green this morning so I popped down, arriving just in time to see Michael Hearsey arriving with the verti-drain machine. Once in the club area, it had to be driven across the astro to the NW corner where it was manoeuvred up and over the bank to the cotula greeen.

Lowering the machine onto the green

Neville, Michael and Tony, glad that stage one was successful
Tony had double cut the green before the machine arrived and spread the cuttings behind the shed in what has now become a garden.
Some think that this is where he tests out various plants to see if they would be of use forming a bowling green.
Wiser bowlers know that this is where much of our kitchen food comes from. Well done Tony.
Plants for the club – use still undecided.

Tony with decisions still to make!
