KCBC Men’s Singles continued today with Day 2 being played at Paraparaumu Beach Bowling Club.
One never knows how a game will go and after beating Brian Radich yesterday, Neville Turnbull drew him in the first round of Post Section today. This time, Brian came out on top, winning the game 21-10.
Also playing in this round was Barry Cross who went down to S Mishkin 9-21. Our two other players were successful, Shoota Ballinger winning his game against Ray Hudson 21-16 and Dave Walker winning against Jim Martin, 21-14.
Shoota had a close game in the next round but went down 19-21 to Owen Vincent. while Dave won his game against Brian Radich 21-13 and then went on to beat Owen Vincent 21-4. Tomorrow will see him playing against Central Levin’s player, Bruce Shand in the quarter final.
