It was just a pity that so few teams took advantage of a lovely day to play in the Gala.
Fred Adam’s team played great bowls against the first three games but Rex Spicer’s trio came to light in the last game to beat them. Still, three wins was enough for Fred, Coral and Omeka to take out the prize.
In second place with 2 wins and a draw was Stafford and Marion Ball and Don Hutchins.
