Our Men’s and Women’s Pennant teams played at the Levin Central Club today, and the results weren’t too good overall. Our two women’s teams lost both their morning and afternoon games as did the men’s A Team. Going against the trend was the Men’s B Team which won both their games against Waikanae. Congratulations to them on their effort.
I called into our club late in the afternoon and was present when our Club Captain was making his call “Any Wrong Biases,” a time when any culprits make their donation to the St John’s Box.
The result today was quite different, no candidates except for one! Up to the box went Fred where he made his contribution to the fund. Thanks for showing us how it is done with a smile, Fred.
