Our women travelled to Waikanae to play Central Levin. At the time of writing, I’ve no idea where any of the teams were positioned in the competition but I did hear about one of our teams day.
Their morning game was not good, the team not playing up to their usual standard but the afternoon game saw a good improvement. Came the last end and the score was level at 13 all. Our Levin team’s skip with one bowl left to play and the head at two down, moved the Jack for a 2 points win. Well done Susan.
Unfortunately, our other team came off second best in each of their games but at least had the experience of representing our club in a Centre competition.
