Today saw our Super Nines Team play two more rounds on the Takaro greens in Palmerston North.
We left Levin in light rain but all was well once we arrived at the greens and got our games started against the Northern Club. These resulted in a Pairs loss, the Triples with a draw and our Fours with a win.
The Masterton teams were or opponents in the afternoon and the Pairs and Triples came out with a win in their games.
The Fours result was what you might expect – the Masterton team had not had a win up till then and we had won all our games. As you might have guessed, this was our time to lose a game. We did OK in the early part of the game but then things just didn’t click as they had in previous games.
Time for us to get back into gear next week.
