The Corner to Corner Finalists.

Late afternoon today saw nine of the ten finalists in Corner to Corner play to become the overall winner. (Their were 10 weekly winners but one was not well enough to take part in today’s event,)
Round one soon saw some quickly drop out as their bowl disappeared into the ditch.
Eventually, what would prove to be the final play, it looked as though Paul Gardner would take the prize. but without any fluster, Bill Clelland sent his bowl away, and though it really wasn’t that close to the opposite corner, it was still closer than Paul’s. The winner had been found.
