The Otaki Bowling Club hosted the Champion of Champions Triples on their artificial green today. Two rounds were played and tomorrow will see the Men and Women’s semi-final games and then the finals.

Both our Men’s and Women’s teams started their games at 9.00am. Margaret MacKay skipping, with Alice Spicer and Christine Ryan, played Waikanae Beach, winning their game 20-13. Their next match was against the Waitarere Beach team and the winner of this had to be found on an extra end. A very close game but the win in the end went to Waitarere, 15-14.
Our Men’s team played Paekakariki in the first round and had a good win 33-9. The two Daves really played well and looked comfortable with their weight and line throughout the day. The second game was against the local team but another win to Levin, 19-15, so it progresses on to tomorrow’s semi fiinal. This will be against Paraparaumu Beach.The other men’s semi-final will be between Levin RSA and Waikanae.
The Women’s seim-finals will be played between Paraparaumu and Waikanae, the other game between Levin Women’s and Waitarere Beach.
