Eight teams faced up to each other today aiming to win two out of three games to qualify for post-section play.
It was a 9.00am start and cool threatening weather faced the teams; all players were well wrapped up to withstand the conditions.
After two rounds, Margaret Mackay’s and Susan Boxall’s team had qualified with both their games won, but still with a chance with one further win needed were teams skipped by Joe Wnek, Ken Smyth, Barbara Selly and Fred Adams.
The last round games were played and winning their games to go into tomorrow’s semi-final were Margaret Griffin’s and Ken Smyth’s teams.
These games will start at 10.00am, weather permitting, the draw as follows:
