It certainly was a cold windy afternoon for today’s 12 o’clock Triples Gala. It didn’t put off any of the 14 teams but it was a day when players had to deal with a wind which aimed to make accurate delivery of bowls quite a problem.
Some heads had bowls spread around quite an area but equally, many players were able to get their bowls close to the Jack. A good learning afternoon for all.
