Just to show all readers, bowlers or not, how much the game means to us.
Yesterday was not the sort of day you would have thought people would have gone out to play, but we certainly had some members who weren’t going to miss a fine day for playing bowls.
Mind you, not great numbers, and after a mid-afternoon cup of tea, the players decided to stay inside.
The sun is back in action today and even though it is not shown as a roll-up day, there will certainly be some on the green this afternoon.
Hope the weather keeps fine for the rest of the week and especially Saturday when the Summer season opens. The cotula green looks great and we hope to be able to test it out. Time will tell.
