Early play on the artificial green. Looks like winter.
After their Motel stay, Heretaunga players arrived at the green on Friday morning, well aware that it had rained overnight and that the cotula green was flooded.
By 9.30am there was very little rain and the artificial green was all right to be played on so play began.
As one can see in the above photo, it took a short time to find out not only what green one need to use but the weight needed if one wanted to get their bowl near the Jack.
Play continued through to 11.30am ending the competition and once inside the clubrooms the scorecards were checked and the results announced as follows:
Fours – Two close games with only 1 point difference in each.

Triples Strong play by both local teams
