Yes, there were that many winners today in our weekly winter Three Games Gala.
One never knows how thing will go on the day and these three teams must have played really well to win all their games. At other times, only one team might succeed with three wins and the other ‘places’ are taken the by teams that have two wins. As usual, the number of ends won are important as can be seen on how the results were decided today.
1st: Neville & Sharon Turnbull, Jim Adams – 3 wins, 18 ends, 42 points
2nd: Fred Adams, Ann Robb, Omeka Feaunati – 3 wins, 17 ends, 36 points
3rd: Reg & Judy Fowles, Hilary Davidson – 3 wins, 16 ends, 30 points
As can be seen the ends won are the deciding factor on who wins in this competition.
Another fine day but certainly it got cooler later in the afternoon but we have been lucky over this winter to get these 11.00am galas played this year.
