Five teams from our club plus Ann Malone in a composited team, entered this competition and after Monday’s play, Susan and I and Ann Malone with Danny Madden managed to qualify.
We played at Waikanae Beach on their top green and found it played well.
Today the first day of post section was played at the Paraparaumu Club in cool blustery conditions.
We held the lead until the second to last end when the jack was trailed back and we dropped a four putting us one behind. We dropped another one on the last end so that ended our progress.
Ann and Danny had a bye today and then went on to win their next two games to reach the quarter final.
