Rain fell today just as the last round was about to be played, so the final positions were decided on the results from the previous rounds.
All games were played at the Waikanae Beach Club with the Fours playing on the green next to the clubrooms and the Pairs and Triples on the top green.
The bottom green presented a problem for most players with its lack of pace but the upper green played ok.
It is an interesting competition with all players having to have won a club championship to be eligible, so as expected, some very good play was on show.
Our Pairs, Ken and Margaret, did the best from our club being placed 4th in their section.
At the end of the day the results of the competition were announced, as follows:
Fours – won by Otaki
Triples – won by Central Levin
Pairs – Won by Raumati South
Overall placing went to Raumati South.
