Our two men’s teams surely were dedicated today, playing their first round of Pennants at Kapiti in gusty wind and off and on rain.
Six clubs were involved with two teams each and in Levin’s case, we played against Paraparaumu Beach Club. Though we lost our four games, it was an experience for the players, coming up against two very strong teams.
Our women’s teams played at their home club and I believe they had some showers, but the games had been played without having to stop. By the time we returned to Levin, the sun was shining, very welcome indeed.
