Our ladies team which won the Interclub Reserve 7’s this season, went to Wanganui last Friday to stay the night so that they would be all ready for a fresh start on Saturday morning. The target was to win the Zone 4 regional play-off.
Things didn’t turn out as hoped as they were rained out on Saturday, so spent the day shopping …. As women do!!
Sunday started off fine with some sun and cloud so the the games got under way but the rain came again during their first game. This round had to be finished but with the green flooding, further play was called off at 1.30pm with Tawa being declared the winners. They will go forward to the National Finals to be held at Naenae.
