Fourteen teams started out today in their quest to win this years Mixed Open Pairs.
Play commenced at 9.00am and continued throughout the day with the last games finishing around 5.00pm.
Twenty-one ends had to be played to find the winner of a game and for those who ended up having to play the third game, it felt for most, a long day on the cotula green.
At the end of play, 7 teams had qualified for post section play which will start tomorrow at 9.00am.

Dave and Ra Walker v’s Shoota Ballinger and Ann Malone on Rink 6
Jack Willis and Hildi Ewart v’s Fred Adams and Coral Mills on Rink 5
This will be another day of three rounds to find the winner and we wish all players the best of luck (and a lot of skill, naturally.)
