Friday morning at 11.00 saw the start of the 2nd semi-final in the winter Mixed Fours. No wind for this game but certainly cool conditions.
Fred Adams won the toss and the first end went to his team with 3 shots, but Susan Boxall’s team scored a 4 on the next.
Some good play on the 5th end saw Susan leading 7-5 but dropping a 4 on the next end saw Fred go into the lead 9-7.
The teams were level again on the 10th end with the score at 11 all but a 2 on the next put Fred’s four in front. Another 2 on the last end put paid to Susan, Murray, Liz and Ian winning the game and going into the final which is to be played tomorrow. Congratulations Fred, Rex, Coral and Alice.
