It was Day 1 today with games being played on our cotula green, 2 greens at Central and 1 at Waikanae Beach.
I was supposed to be playing but health kept me out and Murray Griffin filled in for me with Susan Boxall. They won two of their games at Waikanae Beach as did Dianne Short with Omeka. Our four other teams, playing on the other greens, did not qualify.
Tomorrow, post section play will take place at Central, Susan to play R Snowden from Raumati South and Dianne, after the bye, to play B Hirini from Central.
Let’s hope the weather is OK and good play from both our teams.
