Men’s Aggregate Triples was again played this afternoon but because the cotula green had been sprayed, we played our games on the Dales green.
It was a very hot afternoon and that we believe, was why players needed to give their bowls more weight than usual.
I came out after afternoon tea and noted that all the bowls on Rink 4 had something in common. It really seemed unusual for all players in this game to have a variety of ‘blue’ bowls.
Were the team members in this game selected because of their bowls’ colour or was it just chance after the draw … presuming that teams were in fact drawn??
