Our two Women’s Pennants teams played Paraparaumu Beach teams today on our cotula green and in each of their games, went down to close scores.
In their morning game, Dianne’s team played well but their opposition had times when things just went right for them. In the afternoon, the scores near the end were level but again our team went down, this time by only two points.
Margaret’s four also had close games going down in both by only one point. An unfortunate last bowl from the Levin skip in the afternoon game took out their winning shot and the game was lost.
When the final results of the Pennants competitions are announced by the Centre, I will put them on our web site so that we can see how the club has done.
