A pity really as it was quite a good day for the 2x4x2 Gala, but for one reason or another, we only had ten teams in action. Came the last round and it looked as though three teams were targeted for first and second place, but as things turned out, only Murray and Joan won all four games. The two other teams going in for the final place, lost their positions and a new three winner turned out to be Joe and Lodzia. Just showed that you never quite know what will happen in the last games of the day.

2nd Joe and Lodzia Wnek – 3 wins, 25 ends and 49 points
