A very good evening last night at Cobb & Co where our members thad a Christmas get together. Lots of good food and lots of chatter.
For many years, Christmas was celebrated at the club itself but this seemed always to mean that our kitchen was in use, either by club members or some firm putting on the meal.
This year it was a very good way for us to show our appreciation of their sponsoring of our annual Business House Bowls. Once again we will have both greens used for the competition in early January, with teams of non-bowlers taking part in the game we all enjoy.
Thanks to all – we are looking forward to all having fun.
It looks as though Brian who does most of the organising of the event, is getting in some practice to welcome all.
