Five or our Juniors entered this years competition to win our club’s competition and be able to enter the Centre’s Champion of Champions in March 2013.
A Round-robin draw had been made on Thursday and games got under way on Saturday morning.
It was raining early in the day and it was necessary for play to be held on the Dales green; pace changed later in the day and proved to be more difficult for some players to reach the head.
Thanks to Margaret, having the draw and results recorded on the chalkboard so that players could easily see where and against whom they would be playing, proved to be most useful.
Two games got started this morning, and one in particular found the overall winner of the event, Jim Bagnall proving to be the only player to win all his games. Congratulations.
