It started in early December 2013 and was finally completed this Monday after waiting to find a day that was free and the weather, good.
Eight players had qualified and by this afternoon, Joan Hayward met Diana McGill to play the final; last year’s winner, Liz Galloway, umpired the match.There was quite a gusting wind but the two players handled the conditions and the green well.
By the 14th end, the two players were still keeping their scores close, 10-11, but as the game progressed, Diana moved ahead, finally winning the game, 21-16
